Anya began utilizing her love of hospitality and people-oriented operations in the Diplomatic Service, where she promoted cross-cultural connections for the Mexican Embassy. She developed highly regarded abilities welcoming diverse cultures, herself having lived in four countries beginning with her childhood home of Holland. Anya’s various diplomatic roles included helping US citizens to obtain dual citizenship and serving as Media Communications Aid to the Mexican Naval Attaché.
Anya joined The Ritz-Carlton in 2009, setting forth on an extraordinary journey. Through various administrative and operational roles, she expanded her reach across iconic locations such as Washington D.C. and Grand Cayman. As an Area Quality Analyst for Marriott luxury hotels in the Northeast and Canada Region, including the esteemed St Regis, Anya excelled in evaluating customer feedback and implementing new operational practices to drive performance. Her remarkable contributions left an indelible mark on the organization.
